Management and Operations Group
Identification and characterization of innovative strategies to control HIV through host-mediated control is essential to develop novel approaches capable of achieving a functional cure (control of HIV in the absence of ART) and identification of new strategies capable of true eradication. The success of a large scale, multidisciplinary research program, such as the one proposed here, requires programmatic leadership that actively fosters a collaborative environment where all information is shared in near-real time within and across work groups and institutions. The MOG will be based at the Wistar Institute in Dr. Montaner’s laboratory/office complex. It will provide administrative and logistic support and budgetary oversight for the 3 IRF and 4 SRS groups.
